Your product, whether it is a canoe, fishing boat, pedal boat, kayak, SUP paddleboard, or utility sled, is built with superior materials and in accordance with stringent quality standards. With adequate maintenance, they will give you years of reliable use. However, as with most products, they are subject to wear and tear.
Product component parts and accessories included at the time of purchase are warranted for a period of one year (1 year) from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and/or materials. Proof of purchase will be required.
Some exceptions apply like runners** and Advanced Elements accessories***.
Pelican International Inc.’s warranty is valid only if the product is used for the intended purposes for which it was designed and only extends to the original purchaser (it is non-transferable).
For all items purchased as of November 25th, with proof of purchase, if your item is missing, damaged or defective, you have until January 15th to submit a claim on our website. Please make sure you see the submitted successfully banner at the top of the page after hitting the submit button. This will confirm we received the submission.
After this date, your request for a warranty must be submitted within the 30 days of having received the goods.

We are not responsible for damage or defects once the product has been used improperly. Damage due to improper use is defined as impact with any object or material, damage due to dropping, loading, unloading, or transport, alterations or modifications, repairs, natural disasters, fires, extreme temperatures, and any further use of your product once a claim has been reported.
As soon as you receive your new product, if you discover it is damaged, not in good condition, or missing a part, please contact customer service or fill out a warranty claim as soon as possible to resolve the problem. It is the responsibility of the consumer to contact Pelican International Inc. upon receiving the product in order to initiate a warranty claim.
We strongly recommend you register your warranty to help us contact you if any situation arises where we would need to establish contact. Your warranty can be registered directly on our website (link to register your product here) or in the mail by using the warranty card provided in the owner's manual of your product.
This warranty is the sole and exclusive warranty by Pelican International Inc. in connection with its above-mentioned products, and Pelican International Inc. makes no warranties or representations, expressed or implied (including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose), in such connection except as specifically set forth in this warranty.
All incidental and/or consequential damages are excluded from this warranty. Implied warranties are limited to the life of this warranty. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This warranty gives you special legal rights, and you may also have other legal rights that may vary depending on where your main domicile is.
We know how frustrating a damaged or defective item can be. If your item is missing, damaged or defective, we can get you a resolution if reported within 30 days of the delivery date. If you're item is damaged in transport we highly recommend inspecting the product upon arrival and filing a warranty claim as soon as you receive the goods rather than waiting 30 days.
Pelican TST* Technology
Pelican International Inc. offers a lifetime limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the hull and deck from the date of purchase on all kayaks made from TST technology process since 2018. *(TWIN SHEETTHERMOFORMING).
Pelican Blowmolded Technology
Pelican International Inc. offers a limited Two-years (2 years) warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the hull and deck from the date of purchase on all kayaks made by blowmolded technology process since 2018.
Pelican Rotomolded
Pelican International Inc. offers a limited five-year (5 years) warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the hull and deck from the date of purchase on all kayaks made by rotomolded technology process since 2018.
Pelican Inflatable Kayaks
Pelican International Inc. offers a 180 Days limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the deck and hull.
First quality
Pelican International Inc. offers a limited lifetime warranty against material or manufacturing defects in the hull and deck from the date of purchase.
Second quality
Pelican International Inc. offers a five-year (5 years) limited warranty for the hull and deck from the date of purchase.
Wilderness Systems Inflatable Kayaks
We offer a three-year (3-year) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the deck and hull.
First quality
We offer a limited warranty against material or manufacturing defects in the hull and deck for five (5) years from date of original purchase.
Second quality
We offer a limited warranty of one (1) year for the hull and deck from the date of purchase.
First quality (excluding whitewater kayaks)
Purchased on or after January 1, 2018, kayaks are warranted against material or manufacturing defects on the hull and deck for five (5) years from the date of original purchase.
Dagger Kayaks purchased prior to January 1, 2018, are warranted against material or manufacturing defects in the hull and deck for three (3) years from date of original purchase of the kayak.
Dagger whitewater kayak
Because of the nature of the product, the whitewater Dagger kayaks are warranted against material or manufacturing defects on the hull and deck for three (3) years from the date of purchase based on the coverage levels detailed below.
If you are unsure about what type of Dagger kayak you have purchased, consult the “Part ID” number as indicated on Manufacturer’s Statement of Origin (MSO). All Dagger whitewater kayak Part ID numbers begin with 901.

Second quality
All Dagger kayaks sold as “second quality” as indicated on the MSO are covered under this limited warranty for one (1) year from the original purchase date for the hull, deck, outfitting, and all parts and accessories.
We offer a three-year (3-year) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of purchase for products purchased after January 1, 2023. For purchases made before this date, the warranty duration is one year.
Because of the nature of surfing and paddleboarding, we cannot guarantee the performance of any board or shape for individual riders with varying levels of skills and abilities.
Pelican TST SUP paddleboard
Pelican International Inc. offers a lifetime limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the hull and deck of your paddleboards made from TST technology from the date of purchase, produced since 2018.
Pelican Composite or Foam SUP paddleboard
Pelican International Inc. offers a one year (1 year) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of purchase.
Pelican Inflatable SUP
Pelican International Inc. offers a one-year (1 year) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of purchase.
Pelican Blowmolded SUP
Pelican International Inc. offers a one-year (1 year) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of original purchase.
Boardworks Rigid SUP
We offer a limited two-year (2 years) warranty against defects in material and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of original purchase.
Boardworks Inflatable SUP
We offer a limited two-year (2 years) warranty against defects in material and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of original purchase.
Boardworks Surf Boards
We offer a limited 30-day warranty against defects in material and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of original purchase.
We offer a limited one-year (1 year) warranty against defects in material and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of original purchase.
Pelican International Inc. offers a two-year (2 years) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of purchase.
Pelican International Inc. offers a two-year (2 years) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the hull from the date of purchase.
Pelican International Inc. offers a four-year (4 years) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the deck and hull from the date of purchase.
Pelican International Inc. offers a one-year (1 year) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on the shell from the date of purchase. Product component parts and accessories included at time of purchase are warranted for a period of one-year (1 year) from the date of purchase against defects in workmanship and/ or materials, excluding the Runners*. A proof of purchase will be required.
**Runners will only be warranted for a period of fifteen (15) days as of the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty will be void as soon as the runners are used. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Pelican International Inc. if any defect appears. The customer must file a warranty claim within fifteen (15) days of the date of purchase of the product.
We are not responsible for damage or defects once the sled has been used. Damage is defined as impact with any object or material, damage due to dropping, loading, unloading, or transport, alterations or modifications, repairs, natural disasters, fires, extreme temperatures, and any further use of a sled once a claim has been reported.
Pelican International Inc. offers a one-year (1 year) limited warranty against defects in materials and workmanship on product component parts and accessories from the date of purchase. Proof of purchase will be required.
If the customer notices any missing or damaged parts from the product upon receiving it, it is their responsibility to contact Pelican International Inc. as soon as possible in order to initiate a warranty claim. The customer must file the warranty claim within 30 days of the product's purchase date, and proof of purchase will be required.
**Runners will only be warranted for a period of fifteen (15) days as of the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. This warranty will be void as soon as the runners are used. It is the customer’s responsibility to contact Pelican International Inc. if any defect appears. The customer must file a warranty claim within fifteen (15) days of the date of purchase of the product.
***With the exception of the Summer Showers, which have a warranty duration of 1 year, accessories from Advanced Elements are covered by a 90-day warranty.

GSI Outdoors products are covered by a Lifetime Warranty against material and workmanship defects. Products found to be defective will be supplied with replacement parts if possible or altogether replaced at our discretion. GSI Outdoors reserves the right to make determinations as to the use of this policy.
